Do I need a referral from my doctor before attending Physical Therapy?
In Florida, Direct Access to physical therapy allows patients to see a physical therapist for evaluation and treatment without a physician’s referral. Certain insurance carriers might require authorization and/or referral.
What do I need to wear or bring with me?
You should dress in comfortable, loose clothing that allows you to move easily and doesn’t restrict circulation.
